It's all about the Maple! Our mission is to produce quality maple products.
Jelliff's Maple is located on a 250+ acre farm south of Bentley Creek in Ridgebury Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
Originally this farm was purchased by Glen and Lucile Jelliff in 1946. Like many farm families during that era they made maple syrup for their own use. In 1967 their son, Leland Jelliff took over and operated a dairy farm for the next 27 years.
While growing up Leland and Roberta Jelliff's sons, Greg and Jeff helped Woodards Maple Syrup, a local maple producer down the road during the sugar season. Greg and Jeff also made syrup for their own use.
In 2006, Greg purchased a 2'X3' flat pan to share the experience of making maple syrup with his son's and nephews. Andrew, Greg and Michelle's oldest son used this experience for his FFA project with which he earned his FFA Keystone Degree. 2007 was our inagural year and we've been growing since!
Leland is retired from the US Postal Service. He spends his time working on the maple business. Working at the sugar house and building sap lines. Roberta spends her time quilting and helping make additional maple products such as cream and sugar.
Greg Jelliff is a registered nurse and manages an Emergency Department. His wife, Michelle is a registerd nurse and manages a Cardiac Rehabilitation Department.
Andrew now works as a full time 911 dispatcher and part time as an EMS provider.
Caleb is beginning an Organic Dairy on this same farm and will soon be milking cows again.
Luke and Rachel are still attending school.
Jeff is an engineer at a local industrial facility and Stephanie works as an office manager.
Austin attends Penn State.
